Charity

These are horses that have been released when Horse Academy can afford to donate to a charity that has been vetted by Andrew Starnes (one of the developers). During Charity Events you level the free horse you have been offered and taken up to gain a Token, one level equals one Token, or you can run around on the island and search for Tokens. You can also do a combo of leveling and searching to get to the Token goal that has been set in order to keep the horse, otherwise it will cost 100LPs to purchase from the Store at a later date.
