About Us
Blue Omega is Andrew and Jonathan Starnes, a couple of brothers from England. We got into video games at an early age when we played classics such as 'Jet Set Willy', 'Roland in the Caves' and 'Ghostbusters' on our dads Amstrad in the early 90s. The family then got a P.C with (I think it must have been a boxset) the entire range of LucasArts games, The Secret of Monkey Island, Secret Weapons of the the Luftwaffe, Day of the Tentacle and Loom were the games that kept us busy for the next few years at which point Andrew picked up a huge code manual for the Amstrad and starting coding his own basic games and has been pottering about with computers ever since. Most recently we like to dabble in GTA, Civilisation, Halo and Total War.
We've been creating flash games since 2008 when we started making simple flash games for an online skill gaming website. Our first proper standalone flash game was a title called 'World War Tower Defence' and we've been experimenting how far we can push flash ever since. See our
games page for more details about our games.
Where did we get the Blue Omega name? Blue Omega is a small river boat bought by our Grandad in the 60s, he then passed it onto our dad and we spent most of our summers on while we were growing up.
